This 2026 National Risk Assessment (“NRA”), developed by Ireland’s Anti-Money Laundering Steering Committee (“AMLSC”), brings together the expertise of law enforcement, regulators, and the private sector. We have conducted a rigorous horizon scanning exercise to identify
both persistent threats and emerging vulnerabilities. This document should not merely be a report; it is a roadmap. It provides the evidence-based foundation upon which the State will build more resilient Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism
